Christian’s school had the Book Fair this week. Jackson and I met their class during Library and helped him pick out a few books. Jackson felt like such the big man hanging out at “Budder’s” school. Christian was again mortified that I had the camera, and didn’t want to show off his books for me. I’ll break him in, don’t worry. I managed to sneak in one of him with a book he didn’t even buy.
When it was time for us to leave, Jackson got almost to the door before he realized that he had not given “Budder” some love. He locked up, and got the oh shit I’m about to cry look. I snuck back in and waved Christian over to us. Christian never minds giving love, even to his little brother, but I was afraid it might embarrass him a little in front of his friends. Luckily, they were so into some show on the TV they never even noticed. Jackson got his love, and Christian’s reputation is in tact. All is right in my world.
