I wanted to paint a Colonel Reb for Christian for his dorm, so I did one. I didn’t like the hat, so I did another. I liked him better. Then I decided Caroline needed one with him holding her sorority crest. I like painting Colonels as much as I like painting crabs! I know… it’s weird.
