We are home, and we are tired so forgive me if this post makes no sense at all. Why is it that vacation always make you feel like you need another vacation? Could it be the non-stop activity? Maybe it’s the staying up a bit later and getting up a bit earlier. Whatever it was, it was worth it. There was fishing, duck feeding, lizard catching, turtle feeding and there was this…That alone deserves it’s own blog post, but I’ll just say there was swimming. There was mini-golf and hot-dogs, and sandcastles at the beach. We did have some boring stuff to do, but they were pretty patient so we tried to cram lots of fun things into the rest of the week.Every night we went over to the Village at Baytown Wharf. That place is just a constant party. They always have bands, dancing, and about 4 zillion other things to do. I think Christian decided he wasn’t going to look at me when I took his picture ever again. I hope he changes his mind. Both boys got tattoos. They bounced, they drove little boats, they fed goldfish, they trampoline bungeed, they played on the playground, and they got pushed on a tire swing. At the end of the first night, as we were walking to our car we saw this. I think they were just celebrating our arrival. Nothing like fireworks on a Tuesday for absolutely no reason at all. I love this place.
