Yearbook Photographer

Today I took pictures of Christian’s class swimming at the Y for the yearbook. I’m still not sure how I got involved in this. Oh wait, yes I do, Laura! Totally kidding. I would be taking these pictures anyway, just without worrying quite so much about it and whether or not I will screw it...

The Biggest Brother

Christian desperately wants a big brother. He isn’t picky, he’d take a big sister, but a big brother would be ideal. He’s ready to start the adoption proceedings immediately. He doesn’t want to get rid of Jackson, just add another older sibling. Personally, I think he just wants someone to take the pressure off him....

Busy Bear

Jackson’s class had bear graduation last week. He loves his puppy more than any bear, so he brought it instead. I can’t get a normal face out of this guy, unless he isn’t paying attention to me. His smile for the camera leaves a lot to be desired, but I love it just the same....

Keeping Up With the Big Guys

He’s too small to play in the football games with the big kids, but it doesn’t stop him from tagging along. Today he followed them around for a bit, then moved on to other things. He rode around on his tractor for hours and never complained about being left out. I was a bit surprised....

Still on the Rise

This morning, right after sunrise, I had to go check out the pier. I couldn’t get to my regular bayou picture taking spot. It was part of the bayou at this point. I have to go convince Jackson that we shouldn’t go to school today. Wish me luck! P.S. Still praying and it’s still working…
