You Decide

Tomorrow, my nine year old will handle a problem on his own. His Mom won’t make a few calls and fix it. His Dad won’t rush in and make things right. Instead, he will handle it all on his own and come up with some resolution with one of his teachers. He’s always so quick to say, “You decide.” or, “Will you just call?” but this time, it’s up to him. It’s not a big problem, but to him, dealing with it is HUGE. I’m proud of him, even though I secretly want to call, or decide, or whatever it is he wants me to do to make it easier. This growing up business sure is hard!
