This is what happens when you give your kids Benadryl. They cooperate completely with your directions, but they also manage to look like they are 3 seconds from dropping to the floor in some narcoleptic fit. And, no, I didn’t just give him some Benadryl to get a few uninterrupted hours of presidential debate watching done. I had a legitimate reason. It even involved a call to his doctor, so don’t start calling DHS as soon as you read this. My buddy is just allergic to something, and it was likely to make him scratch his skin off. This is the first time in, well, maybe ever, that he has come downstairs at 9:00 and announced that he was ready to go to bed. God bless Benadryl and all that it stands for.
