Whatever Floats Your Boat

20090309_3498Sometimes, I just have to give my kids a break. When I know they can’t take much more of my camera , I take pictures of whatever I can find. My boys were in desperate need of a camera break. Can you tell?20090309_3496When I got home from taking Jackson to school this morning I saw some cool spiderwebs in one of our trees by the driveway. I hopped out of the car with my camera, and yes it was in the car with me, and tried to take some pictures.bbOne of my friends was walking in the neighborhood and stopped to see what I was doing. She completely understood my need to photograph the webs, not surprised at all. 20090309_3485Another friend and neighbor came out to see what was going on. When he realized what I was doing, he told me he had plenty of jobs if I was looking for something to do. He was only kidding, but I know deep down he was wondering why the hell I needed a picture of a spiderweb. Thank goodness the dandelion was in the backyard. I don’t think he could have handled me down in the grass with all the gnats just for a picture of a weed.20090309_3493
