What is it About Boys and Fire?

20090704_0516We gave the boys the option to get minimal fireworks this year and go down to the beach to watch the big show, or stay home and get a butt load of stuff and blow it all up in our front yard. Guess what they chose. Blow it up themselves, every time. 20090704_0503Jackson used to ride out 4th of July in the safety of Paw Paw’s lap, not anymore. He’s right in the middle, ready to set fire to whatever fuse needs it.20090704_059520090704_0527Scott used to be Master of Ceremonies, but there’s a new kid in town. We mostly just sit back and Christian runs the show. Don’t worry, they still need Daddy. He has to tell them to quit leaning over things, get everything ready, and help when there is a problem. There are usually a few minor problems.20090704_054320090704_0567Sparklers are always my favorite part, and even though the boys may not admit it, they love them, too.20090704_0665Hope everyone had a fun, and safe 4th. We sure did!20090704_0653
