Time to Break Out the Spooky Stuff

20081001_2105Let me tell you a little story about how ridiculously stupid I can be. I saw these cute frames once in a magazine and loved them. There was a frame for each month and they came in a set. I wanted them, but I didn’t want to spend $250 on something I was sure I could make. So, after 10 trips to Michael’s and Hobby Lobby, and probably $255 later, I started making frames.
20081001_2106I worked on them like mad for a few weeks, Scott making fun of me occasionally for my obsession. Our kitchen was covered in drop cloths and painting supplies. Fun times, fun times. One day, I just got tired of working on them non-stop. I finished most of them, all except May, June, July and August. Okay, maybe I didn’t finish most of them. I somehow managed to make two for Halloween, and a Happy Birthday one just for fun.
20081001_2110So, every year on October 1st, I bust out the two October frames and remember I still have 4 more to go. I should have just ordered the damn things in the beginning and saved myself the trouble. I wonder if it’s too late.
