Today was such a nice fall day. It was cool enough to leave the back door open all afternoon, which always makes it easier to keep an eye on the kids if they are back there. Jackson has been spending some time in the back yard lately. He has a nice little collection of bugs going on the back porch that he loves to play with. Scott gave him some worms yesterday to add to the mix. He put some dirt, a few leaves, and a little grass in the box for them to crawl around in. It can entertain him for hours. I heard him out there just going on and on talking to someone. Christian and his friends weren’t back there. Scott was gone. I thought I better check it out. I peeked out the back door and he’s holding one of those worms in his hand giving it a serious talking to. “Now, don’t you do dat, if you do dat again, I’m gonna put you in time out!” What does this kid know about time out? Not enough, I assure you.
