I don’t have any new pictures to put up because, well, I didn’t take any today. My boys are all hunting and I had no one to harass with my camera. I did have an abundance of quiet, and time to watch movies on TBS, even a minute or two to vacuum and clean some toilets, but no pictures. I do have these pictures that Scott took with my point and shoot during Hurricane Gustav. There usually isn’t water down there by the fence.
There usually isn’t water covering our pier either, but all that white you see, that is water. I’m sure glad Gustav de-intensified and didn’t hit us head on. I’m pretty sure de-intensified is not a word, but I like it, and I’m going to use it. A category 4 or 5 blowing in here head on would most definitely wipe us out, and I kind of like it here. Well, most of the time I like it. I just would like it much less if it was under water.
