That Kind of Day

Tonight I was helping Christian put the final touches on his Reading Fair project that’s due Thursday. All we had left was attaching everything to the board and it was a done deal. I had the glue in my hand and I squeezed. I heard a pop and glue went everywhere, the wall, the blinds, the chaise, the pillow. The project was sitting on that chaise, so it went on the project, too. Needless to say, tomorrow I will be making a mad dash to find another backboard and print out some duplicates of what got ruined so we can put it back together tomorrow night. It’s funny, I almost cried, but Christian didn’t seemed phased at all. He’s either super confident that I will come through, or he could care less. I’m not going to try to guess which.
