Every time my kids leave their grandparents they hug them like they won’t see them again for a month. Keep in mind that they live down the street, maybe 3 or 4 houses down. Chances are, if they don’t see them in passing again that day, they will see them tomorrow. My question is, are these the same kids that we have to chase down and tackle to give us some random loving? I’m not counting bedtime loving, they give that up happily, or even sleepy lovin‘, they have tons of that available for the taking. I am referring to, hey, you standing there doing nothing, come over here and give me a hug turns into a game of chase in our house, which always ends in screams and giggles, and the stealing of all of their hugs and kisses. Could someone please explain that to me?
