Being Them

20091117_3652-copycI’ve been making a conscious effort to use my camera almost every day, but I’ve also been trying not to always be in everyone’s face. Do you know how hard that is for me?? The good part is that I have lots of pictures of them just being them. I love all my pictures, whether they are looking at me all smiles, or off rounding up brush for a fire, they all make me happy, but snapshots capture more of who they are. This is one of the things I love about photography.20091117_3659I love seeing how much Jackson adores his big brother. When Christian stops, Jackson bumps into him. I love seeing how focused Christian can be, even if it’s just searching for pinecones.20091117_3675I love seeing that Jackson’s mouth rarely stops moving whether people are listening or not. I also love seeing Christian, even though sometimes annoyed, allows his little brother to tag along.20091117_3751I know how different they are, but there are similarities.20091117_3745I love seeing them, too.20091117_3765
