Senior Trip — Day 2

After a good night’s rest, we tackled day 2. Jackson and I weren’t sure about the roller coasters at first, so we sat this one out. He didn’t miss another one. Can you find Christian???
It was humid, can you tell? Harry Potter world was probably the biggest hit, if you don’t count the roller coasters. It was sunny, then cloudy, then a little rainy, but overall, the heat was manageable all day.
Frozen butter beer is REALLY good. And it’s really funny when you are being cool taking selfies and you spill it all over yourself. We had to stop and look at every duck or bird around. These had ducklings, so I even checked it out. We also had some cell phone pics. This is the train, which is so much better than walking from world to world. There was an afternoon lightning storm we hid from by the bathrooms, and some nice stranger got our only group pic. When we suggested the Jurassic ride, the kids kind of blew us off because they thought it was just a boat ride looking at fake dinosaurs, and it was. But at the end there was an 85 foot drop involving a huge splash that none of us were aware of. Christian turned around to us after it was over with water dripping off his entire face with a huge smile and said, “Now, I wasn’t expecting that!” Definitely the best moment of the trip. They got in the dryer afterwards.
Day 2, was awesome!
