Rising from the Ashes

One of the most iconic places in the Florida panhandle is the Red Bar. I attempted to paint a picture of their famous door a few years ago for Christian. When it burned down in 2019, I really never thought it would be the same. I was wrong. They have rebuilt and reopened, and are as cool and weird as ever. When we were down there for Mom’s birthday earlier in the month, we swung by there so I could get a picture. Brian Hand is the artist behind the door, and I absolutely love it. Looks like I need to get started on a new watercolor attempt, although I need to take another picture and this time, maybe I will move the garbage can.
