One of Scott’s friends, Richard, bought both boys a Red Ryder BB Gun when they were born. At the time, I thought, a gun… for a baby?? Nice choice. Thanks so much, but I don’t get it. Ok, now I get it. These guns are of their most prized possessions. They beg to shoot them and sometimes just to look at them. I don’t worry about Christian too much. He knows gun safety, and follows all the rules. Jackson, on the other hand, is learning, but really doesn’t have a clue. That is why Daddy is always right there supervising the insanity. All I can think of is “The Christmas Story” and Jackson putting his or someone else’s eye out. They love them, though, and really, I understand. It’s a boy/man first gun thing. If I haven’t said it before, and because I doubted you, I’ll say it now… Thank you Richard. Red Ryder BB Guns WERE the absolute perfect baby gift. Nice choice.
