I’m running out of pictures to post, so tonight I’m just throwing random things out there, and it’s all about me. Again, this is one of those posts that if you turn and run, it won’t hurt my feelings one little bit. Okay, here goes…
1. I have no pictures because I sent my camera off this week. I’ve been putting it off, but I finally decided to send it to Canon for cleaning and calibrating. The bad part is, when I printed out my UPS label and stuck it on, I forgot to check it. I shipped my camera right back to myself insured out the wazoo. Not only did I lose time with my beloved camera I had to print another label and re-ship the next day, so I’m out some more money. I can’t get them to refund the charge because it’s still pending. In the meantime I found that I had some bogus charges on my credit card and now I’m having to go through the process of disputing the charges which means they’ve canceled the card. You guessed it, the same card I charged for the UPS labels. If the charges are still pending, they may not clear and there my camera will be, out in UPS never never land uninsured. I can barely sleep at night. I have my old camera, but it just isn’t the same. I haven’t taken a picture since the UPS debacle. Posts will be sparse.
2. I wash clothes every day… EVERY.DAY. The weird thing is, I don’t really mind it, except that I’m NEVER finished. I like to finish tasks. It makes me feel productive. Laundry is still okay. I love the smell of clean clothes. It is by far my favorite chore. If I could get these boys to turn their socks right side out, and quit leaving gum and cell phones in their pockets, my life would be complete. I’m washing clothes RIGHT NOW!
3. I’m giving up something that is really super hard for me to give up. If you know me, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s just the beginning of the process, but I haven’t killed anyone yet, so I call that victory.
4. I ate Crunch and Munch and drank a real Coke for lunch. The Crunch and Munch, although a huge treat is not quite as forbidden for me as the Coke. Coke is something I reserve for only super special occasions or if I’m at Laura’s house. Refer to number three and don’t judge me. If I want a can of condensed milk later, by damn, I deserve it.
5. I love my iPhone, but I’m really not a phone person. I left it in my car for most of Christmas vacation. If you called me, I’m sorry.
6. My computer is one of my very favorite things. I had to buy a desk to put behind the sofa just so I could make it part of our living area. I sit at that desk more than on the sofa.
7. I take my camera everywhere I go, even Wal-Mart. I’m going through withdrawals right now on so many levels.
Okay, that’s all I’ve got.
