After a ton of rain, a cold front, and probably some praying from all my boys, Fall finally came to south Mississippi! Not only was there wind and sweatshirts, there was a fire. I didn’t stay long because I was too cold, but it happened.

First, these aren’t my pictures, I got them off Facebook from the school district. Jackson got a lunch invitation this week. Apparently, each department in the school nominates 2 or 3 kids for kicking ass, so they had a group of about 30 kids, and the culinary students prepared them all a steak lunch. As per usual, Jackson said he wasn’t going. This time, he had a quiz during the luncheon he needed to take. I think the quiz was in the class of one of the teachers that nominated him, so there was no way she was letting him miss out. I’m so thankful that he has teachers at school that push him out of his comfort-zone like we do at home. As always, we were are beyond proud. Oh, and Emma was there, too. Way to go, Greyhounds!!!
We met Mr. Jimmy & Ms. Cindy at the stadium, and I had to get a few pics of the crew before we headed in.
Tony the Landshark even got in one with us!
That is the student section starting to fill up. Can you find Christian. I did, in like 3 seconds. The powder blue shirt on red day helped.
I was really expecting a massacre, with us being the ones getting massacred, but it was a fantastic game.
Jackson wasn’t a fan of the fraternity house. He could care less about roaming around the grove, but the football…
He loved that part. Scott and Jackson’s first Ole Miss game was lost, 24 to 17, but I will mark it down as a W in my book. Oh, and I took a picture of Plumlee and Corral down at the end of the bench there, and Matt Luke walking around lost in the fog. Good times!!!
Mr. Jimmy & Mrs. Cindy gave us their tickets for the A&M game. We met Christian and Caroline, and introduced Scott and Jackson to their first pre-game in the grove.
I didn’t take this last picture, Ole Miss had it on Instagram. We are in the top right quadrant somewhere. I can’t find us, but I know we are there. Jackson must have high-fived every single player during the Walk of Champions. There is nothing quite like the Grove!
It’s GAME DAYYYYYYY!
This is the calm before the storm.
There are tents as far as the eye can see!
