Fergie was rockin’ September.
Ole Miss had rush last September, and Jackson and his roommate opted to participate. It was a long, tiring week and my baby made barstool after less than a month in Oxford. He had fallen asleep on his lunch break in such a weird position, I didn’t recognize him at first.Luckily, he caught up enough on his sleep and continued. In the end, he got his bid from the exact fraternity that he wanted, which coincidentally is the same as his brother. I think he knew immediately that he found his people, and I can’t tell you how happy that made me.I swiped this from instagram… Introducing Delta Psi’s 2022-23 pledge class…Here he is at his first football game as a pledge.I’m so happy that he found his place, and as always, I commend him on an excellent choice.
We finally had to head back to Mississippi and since I was a passenger, I just read books and took pictures of clouds. We made a quick stop by Christian’s to drop something off. Then got back on the road and headed west.
So, these pictures are from back in August because of who I am as a person. Last summer, since it was Jackson and Christian’s last at home together, we gave them the option on where to spend the summer. They chose Mississippi. I figured, come August, we could do whatever we wanted, so I didn’t even fight it. Once we got Jackson all moved in and settled in Oxford, we made a trip. There are a zillion Sandestin things I have missed, but our sunsets, and our sunset friends were at the top of the list!Cash and Deebo picked up right where they left off.Chloe hid from the crazy dogs on her golf cart. She’s looking at her dad giving them treats with a tiny bit of disgust. We met a family with a couple boys that made me miss mine being this age.Deebo just soaked it all in.We hung around chatting until the very last bit of sunset remained, and it felt like such a good day.
Now, that was a good one!
