My only semi-willing and available subject these days is Deebo, and this puppy stage isn’t going to last long, so basically this will be the Deebo show for awhile. Sorry, not sorry!

Keeping with the current theme, it’s me, loving on dogs since the 70’s! That is Grandma’s dog, Tooler, above, and Mom’s dog, Brandy, below. I haven’t met many dogs I didn’t love, even ridiculous looking poodles… especially ridiculous looking poodles!
We celebrated Mammaw’s 79th birthday a couple weeks ago over at Chad’s. I think the great grandkids enjoyed her cake more than she did.
Handing out icing despite disapproving mothers since 1999…
and those babies love her for it! Happy birthday, Mammaw!!!!
Watercolor Wednesday is all about my Momma. I can’t paint wildlife, but she sure can. I requested this pelican, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. Thanks, Momma!!! Just beautiful!
Deebo came home right before hurricane Sally made landfall. At the time, she was supposed to hit us, and since Deebo was finally able to eat a little food and they were going to have to clear out the clinic anyway, they let us come get him. Luckily for us, and unfortunately for our neighbors, the hurricane shifted. Deebo spent those rainy, windy days, home recovering smothered with love. These pictures were taken after the storm finally passed, and we had a pretty day. When he first came home he was terribly skinny. He was so weak he could barely walk, but he bounced back quickly. A few days later he was bounding around, terrorizing Fergie and eating chicken and his rice like his life depended on it. I guess it did. He is still a little skinny, but catching up quickly.
He is still the cutest puppy in the world.
He’s adjusting to life here just fine.
