Scott got to use his new clubs pretty quick. I’m not sure if the next picture is about how the game went, or for all those that couldn’t join them.
We went for the sunset, but the moonrise was really the star.
I can’t believe this kid is about to start his senior year of high school. He’s been working on an IB project this summer, so I guess technically, it’s already started.
Scott’s Father’s Day and his Anniversary were both awesome. It started with some presents and cards. Then we stopped for breakfast at Jackson’s place of employment, and let me assure you, Maple Street Biscuit is soooooo good! Afterwards, Christian and I whisked him away to make a purchase he had no intention of making. I don’t know who was more excited, Christian or Scott. Scott has had the same golf clubs for over 25 years. Every time he’d get a new set, he’d give them to one of the boys. This time, he’s going to keep them. He got new irons, driver, putter and a new bag. He resisted. He tried to tell us that he didn’t need them, but finally he gave in and embraced the process. I think I liked watching him pick out his gift more than getting a gift. We came home and Scott probably took a nap or something, then after Jackson got off work, we cooked some steaks, potatoes, and bread. We ended the meal with an ice cream cone. We spent dusk on the golf course breaking in a club or two and playing with Deebo. If that isn’t the perfect day, I don’t know what is…
Deebo would have like to have a friend over, but other than that… perfect!
