And the Award Goes to…

I know I already talked about all the awards Jackson got during the recognition ceremony, but there were more. Jackson had a project in his Theory of Knowledge class, which he did. I helped him with the back board. Don’t worry, he informed his teacher immediately that I helped with that part. A few days later, he brought this home. I guess they voted on Best Boards, and Jackson and I won. If I’d have known there were gonna be an award, I might have taken a picture. IB also gave out some extra awards. Jackson’s friend group call themselves the Wolfpack. I’m not sure the specifics, or if they are even serious. Connor got kicked out for something, but he’s really still in the group. They truly deserve the honor. The next one was a given…And finally…

Congratulations to us all!

It Was My Birthday!

What better way to celebrate than getting Deebo in the pool. He looks so at ease, and like he really loves it.Here is his cheering section! He’s holding on pretty tight. You’d think at some point, he’d ease up and get comfortable. You’d be wrong.

Class of 2022 Recognition Ceremony

We were invited to Jackson’s Senior Recognition Ceremony, which meant our senior was getting an award!

And while he did get awards, he was most proud of his IB sash.He worked really hard for that thing, so he should be.That boy loves him some Ms. Driggers!Big Con!!!!Jackson was also recognized for Mayor’s Youth Council. And then for his Academic Merit Scholarship, his 1848 Scholarship, and his Circle Award! Last, but not least, he got the IB History Achievement Award. He got these awards three months ago, and I still get teary-eyed looking at these pictures, and thinking about how dedicated he is, and how proud we are.All these kids deserve to be celebrated, and I assure you there is so much more to come. This lady is the only person I know that is just as excited for them as their own parents. We love her for it.

Way to go, Jack Smack!

Congratulations Graduate

Look at that boy go!

Gotta get some love. This is his best engineering friend, Trevor. They are friends outside of the engineering department I’m sure. This is his favorite teacher, and another engineering friend. We took some family pics in the grove, because it’s one of the most special places on earth.

Now, I guess it’s time to dust yourself off, drag yourself out of that velvet ditch, and go out into the real world. Don’t worry, you can still visit. Way to go, baby!!
