NAS Museum

20080704_4082 We went to the museum at The Naval Air Station in Pensacola on July 4th. The boys loved getting to see all the planes and helicopters. They even got to sit in a few and play with the gears, which was pretty cool. 20080704_4127 This pretty much sums Jackson up right here, my crazy little man. Who cares if you can’t see out of the window when you are flying an airplane??
20080704_4090 This pretty much sums Christian up. Find the target, aim and shoot, at least I think that whatever he is doing involves something like that. What is it with the men in this family with all the weapons?? Mom and I took pictures and watched. We are the peace-loving people in this family. I have never seen my mom get at all excited over a missile launcher or a torpedo, unless we were feigning fascination for the sake of my kids. I’m pretty sure this is true. I’ll have to ask her to be sure, so I’ll get back to you on that one.20080704_4110 Daddy and Scott showed the boys what all the gears were for, and told them the names of all the planes. I wasn’t bored out of my mind or anything. I absolutely LOVE all things military and want nothing more than to know the name of every plane in the history of planes. I have to admit, though, the Blue Angels were pretty awesome. I’m pretty sure Daddy and Scott were wishing they could push those little kids out of the way, hop in and play with everything themselves, but they played it cool. I only saw them butt in front of the kids once or twice. Ok, not really, but I know they wanted too.
