Last Day of Freedom

What a crazy day! My plan was to spend the last day of summer vacation relaxing in the pool with the fam, but it didn’t work out that way. I spent my day in a doctor office, a grocery store, a mall, and running various errands all over Mobile and Ocean Springs. The boys weren’t phased, they had a neighborhood air-soft war finishing up just in time to make their requests for their last summer supper. Christian wanted homemade hamburgers and Jackson wanted Pizza Hut… more errands. After their last supper was complete, we got everything ready for school tomorrow. Lunch money checks are written, clothes are laid out, and backpacks are packed. The rest of the night was spent talking Christian off the ledge. His rotating block schedule is confusing and he doesn’t quite know how it’s going to work out. I went over it with him, but honestly, they didn’t cover rotating block schedules at Resurrection Catholic School, much less Ole Miss, and I can’t figure that business out! I promised him it would not be as scary as he thinks, and he’ll have it all figured out by the time he gets home. Then he can explain it to me.
