How sad is it that this is the last time I will ever have one of my kids in the St. Paul circus?? It’s sad I tell you! Jackson got to be a cowboy with his buddies, and had such a fantastic time. He had a little trouble staying on his horsey, and was walking more than trotting, but you should have seen the lasso. Very impressive. He kept getting aggravated at the little boy next to him because he wouldn’t leave him alone. Finally, he lost his patience (last picture). I was a little worried we might have to go separate them, but it soon passed. That night when I was getting him ready for bed he told me he wanted to be a clown in next year’s circus. I broke it to him gently that he would be at big brother’s school next year, and they didn’t have a circus, but lots of other cool things to do. He hung his head just a little and in his best disappointed voice said, “Oooooo-tay.” I know baby, it makes me sad, too.
