Flashing back to my favorite school picture from 1st grade. Why is it my favorite you ask? Well, mom didn’t get the handout that this day was picture day so guess who got themselves ready. Oh yeah. Probably didn’t shower, definitely no carefully curled hair… in fact, I fixed my own. Can you tell? I picked out that shirt, and those barrettes, and if we are really honest, there is a good chance I didn’t brush those few teeth that I actually had. But, don’t I look so happy and proud??
