My builder sent me this picture to show me the progress in the kitchen, and as pretty as it was, it wasn’t my backsplash tile, it was my bathroom tile. I picked the squares for the kitchen, because everybody knows squares are more kitcheny. Made that up. I knew the hassle that removing the tile would be, so I almost didn’t say anything, but I had to. My awesome builder immediately took it down and ordered the right stuff. We drove over last week just to take a look. They didn’t have the grout done yet, but it was so pretty. I’m glad we switched. The backsplash may just be my favorite thing in the house! Is that weird? Especially since it’s the first thing I will get tired of and that will look dated in the future!.jpg "20140214_1275 copy")
