And Then They Were Highschoolers

I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard on the ride to school in my life. I had the first carpool this year for the Graveline Pointe Crew. I asked Scott to drive and had my camera hidden at my feet. I took a few pics with my phone in the car of the boys crammed in my backseat. They were hilarious. Andrew jokingly begged us to take a left and go back to the Middle School. Grant requested home-schooling. Christian threw out a few choice words. William told them that he’d be nervous if he didn’t have his pod, or his pack to walk in there with. They was just a hint of nervousness, but mostly laughter all the way. When we turned into the school everyone was talking and joking when Garret spoke up. He said, “Everyone be quiet, let’s just reflect!” I thought we were going to die. If they were scared, it all dissolved into laughter. I seriously love these crazy kids! Right as they were about to get out I told them they might want to look back at the car as they were walking away because I possibly had a camera. They laughed and no one begged me not to do it, so I got my green light. And whaddaya know, most of them looked back, mine being the first! And they walked away to their first day of high-school. Now, everyone be quiet and reflect…
