And the Award Goes to…

Jackson had awards early this week. He had no idea what he was getting. He said that he had the smartest girl in the school in his class, so he felt like it might not be much. He started out with a P. E. award. Notice he has on half of his uniform. We were cutting it close trying to squeeze in awards and a tournament game. The P. E. award was appropriate.I was expecting a History award because he has a 99 in there, but I was wrong, he got an ICT award. Then he won a trophy for having the 3rd highest average in the 7th grade for computers. Next was a Math award. Last, but certainly not least, he got an Academic Excellence award for always having A’s and being just plain awesome! After the awards, Ms. Register started giving a speech sort of reminding us about our roll in our children’s education. As much as I was dying to hear that, we had a baseball game to get to, STAT! It was kind of embarrassing leaving during her lecture, but luckily, all the baseball kids got up at the same time. Made me feel just a bit better. So, my baby killed it again this year! Way to go Jackson!!!! As always, we are so proud!
