Jackson’s school had their Christmas program last night and they all did great. Charlie, Jackson and David were the cutest little wisemen I had ever seen. When Jackson got to his seat on the stage, he realized that he didn’t know where we were. I could see just a bit of panic in his face while he searched the crowd. He kept nudging David and asking him where his Mom & Dad were. I wanted to jump up and yell, “Over here, we’re over here!” but I restrained myself. He finally noticed us waving like crazy people in the crowd. He sang most of the time, but got a little bored occasionally.
Who is the bad Mommy that didn’t make her child take a nap yesterday afternoon? Oh yeah, that was me. He did brighten up for the fun parts.
I’m so glad he got to be a wiseman with Charlie & David. They were the perfect trio for the job. After the program was over we took some pictures. I’m rarely in any pictures, which is usually okay with me. Just to prove that, yes, I was there, here we are in all my photogenic glory. Notice that my eyes are almost closed and I have a strange look on my face. I’m horrible about that. This is why I stay behind the camera.
MamMaw & Aunt Tina were there, but missed the photo sessions. Lucky ducks! MawMaw & PawPaw didn’t escape the photo ops.
Oh, and a big thanks to my Mom. She actually got a picture of me with the boys with my eyes open. Jackson doesn’t love his big brother at all.
Congratulations to the little wisemen! Y’all did an awesome job!
