Jackson has finally lost his first tooth!!! Excuse my pictures. It seems like all our important moments have been happening during crappy lighting these days. Oh well, the kids are still cute, I can’t mess that up! When Jack Smack got home from school, we realized the tooth was really loose and close to coming out, but we thought it could use another day of wiggling. Right before bed Christian started yelling, “Jackson lost his tooth, but he can’t find it!!!” Sure enough, the tooth was gone, and he swore he had not spit it down the drain while brushing his teeth. We were doubtful. Daddy grabbed his tools and headed up. During the commotion, Christian passed the silver hippo down to his little brother. All his baby teeth went into the hippo for the Tooth Fairy, and he wanted to pass the good times along. In the meantime, Daddy managed to unearth the tooth from our pipes, you know the ones attached to the drain where J was positive he had not spit the tooth? Yeah, that one.Jackson already had a box for his tooth, so he decided to use it. I heard some discussion over the validity of the Tooth Fairy and Jackson may have even stated that he didn’t believe he/she was real. Right before putting his tooth in his little box he went on a mad dash through the house looking for paper and a pencil. He carefully cut out a small piece of paper, wrote something important, and placed the note next to his tooth box. Now, we wait. Wonder what will happen tomorrow!
