Tree Pics

When I was a kid, my Mom used to paint. She’d take photographs all the time and then turn some of them into paintings. I know that look my kids get when I ask them to take just one more picture. I had that look, too, maybe not quite as much as my kids do, but I had a well documented childhood. I feel their pain. It doesn’t change a thing, and I promise, I’m not even complaining. I’m thankful for all the pictures. Hopefully my kids will feel that way one day, too. One can dream, right? Mom’s favorite pose always involved a tree. I cannot tell you how many pictures there are floating around of me, and everyone else in my family, climbing up, leaning on, sitting by, clinging to, or just in the presence of a tree. It was a nice change to turn the tables on my Momma, especially involving a tree. I won’t lie, it wasn’t my idea. My Mom saw the tree first, but I knew exactly what she was thinking. We needed someone leaning on, or clinging to, or falling from that tree. I found the perfect subjects!!
