When I asked Christian what the best part of his first day of school was, he was quick to tell me it was the bus ride home. This doesn’t surprise me at all. He knew 10 kids on the bus just from our neighborhood, one of which, was Grant. Christian and Grant have been best friends since they were about 3. They were in the same class last year, which was really nice, for the moms AND the kids. When Christian found out that they weren’t going to be in the same class this year, he was a little disappointed, to say the least. There’s always the bus. They were almost giddy getting off the cheese wagon. Finally, a chance to hang out with some of his buddies.
