My parents have a couple hummingbird feeders in their yard right outside the window by their kitchen table. Christian, Jackson and I went over to their house this afternoon to see them and to try to take some pictures. Those are fast little boogers!
Christian is the only kid I know that has caught a hummingbird in a net. He’s done it twice in our yard, and we don’t have a feeder. At first we thought it was a big moth or something, but he kept telling us it was a hummingbird. Sure enough, it was.
We didn’t let him get the net out at Mawmaw & Pawpaw’s. We wouldn’t want to scare them off. What would Mawmaw & Pawpaw do while they ate their lunch?
