Adults Only

Last week, while the boys were at school, we decided to take a little boat ride. I was so relaxed, I didn’t even wear a life jacket. Turns out all my anxiety on the boat stems from worrying about the kids safety, not mine. It’s a Mom thing, I suppose. It was a beautiful day, and it made me sad to know that the hot days are coming to an end for a few months. I sure do love me some summer!Christian was only mildly pissed that we went without him. When he found out we didn’t fish, it seemed to make it okay. It did inspire a fishing trip the next day, just for him!
