We really do meet some cool friends in Destin, some just don’t want to meet us! This owl lives on one of the lots we were looking to build on. We chose the lot next to him and I hope he is still my neighbor when we get there.

Tropical Storm Cindy had the water closed for about 4 days to beach-goers unless they had a board longer than 5 feet with a leash. My surfer took advantage. The water was all churned up and foamy. It wasn’t quite as pretty as usual. He defied gravity here…but gravity won.
