I love the first day of the year we get in the pool. When I say we, I don’t necessarily mean me. The water is still freezing, and he only jumped in twice, but we’ve broken the seal. It still takes his breath away…But, summer is upon us.

We played Gautier, which technically doesn’t count as far as our league goes, but, it counts to us. Tanner started us out pitching. Sawyer came in for an inning to pitch.Jackson closed it out. Everyone did great.It was close at the end, but Jackson struck out two and picked off one, and we held our lead....
In between the rain storms, the boys went skim-boarding on the golf course. I’m sure that is against all the rules but after three days stuck in the house, I couldn’t say no.See, that was worth it!
We went to Sandestin for the Easter holiday, and it honestly poured the ENTIRE time. I didn’t see blue sky until we were pulling out Monday. We spent the long weekend, cooking, eating, dying eggs, playing cards and playing in the rain. MawMaw and PawPaw came with us. I felt kinda bad for them being stuck...
Our second game against the Rays, we got our ass handed to us. It was a late game, and the sun was already down. We were in the 3rd base dugout with a great view of the sunset behind Jackson playing 1st base. I got some shots. I usually hate taking pics at late games,...
